Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a minute to give you guys a little AR update from the studio. I have been holed up in the lab with Beans the last month producing, writing, and recording demos for a new EP. We started with roughly twenty ideas and from that have carved it down to six of the best. I’ve never been more excited about anything in my professional life and CANNOT wait to share these with everyone. This weekend I’ll be working on some finishing touches on the tracks, and come next week, we will be completely tearing apart our old live set and reinventing the show from the ground up to give you a whole new live experience. See you guys soon!

Ronald Corso over at Last Great City and NPR Las Vegas was kind enough to put together a brilliant 30-minute podcast which includes an in-depth interview and discussion with Afghan Raiders. Ronald talks to the guys about a variety of subjects including how they got their start, the effect of extreme temperatures on analog synthesizers, and why they call the man behind the keyboards “Beans.”
